Headshot photo of the subject in the about section, Nick Morgan.

My name is Nick Morgan and I have been in the digital media profession for 14 years. My experience ranges from creating promotional video for television to livestreaming 2,000+ appellate court proceedings per year and producing long form post production videos.

I have been with the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) since 2019 where I serve as the Digital Media Lead. In this role, I work closely with the Tennessee Supreme Court, Court of Criminal Appeals and Court of Appeals as the primary point of contact for all in-person live streaming and virtual court proceedings, as well as managing the user experience for all digital content produced for the @TNCourts YouTube page and the Tennessee Court Talk podcast.

Before joining the AOC, I served as a Promotions Producer at Fox 17 News in Nashville, where I wrote, and edited topical promotions for special project news stories and on-site promotions at events across Middle Tennessee. I assisted in recording and producing promotions for Rock and Review, Girls on The Run of Middle Tennessee, Ferrier Files and Code Red Weather station imaging spots. Prior to joining Fox 17 News, I worked in higher education at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA as an AV Specialist where I worked in several roles, assisting both in UWG Sports and university administration.

I earned my Masters of Education, Media from the University of West Georgia, graduating in 2015. Before my master’s, I earned my bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of West Georgia in 2012, while working as the student executive producer of UTV News and Full Coverage Sports shows.

I live in Nashville, TN with my wife Chelsea, daughter Julia and our Pitbull, Turner.
